Had an issue with several virtual machines not starting this week, they just got stuck on 10% and no matter how many times I restarted the VM and the Host they wouldn’t start running. Warning to others, be sure you shut down the other vm’s before you try that. Thanks to Microsoft for calling and coordinating promptly, but I do wish sometimes people would not be so tied up in following the “script” and just listen to what the customer is saying (dude, reset the VM) instead of insisting on a screen share and call etc. Unfortunately its not quite that simple because the Virtual Machine Worker Process which is responsible for running the virtual machine appears numerous times, once for each running guest machine!
