She was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Kennedy. Fischer, Abby Hodges, Jada Hodges, Alexandra Fischer, Jaci Hodges, Liza Fischer and Alli Hodges two sisters, Maxine Schmitz and husband Bob of Woodward Jean Biswell and husband Jerry of Oklahoma City two brothers, George Halko and wife Kay of Okarche John Halko of Okarche brother-in-law, Jack Hodges of Oklahoma City sister-in-law, Joyce Weeks of Oklahoma City other relatives and many dear friends. Joan grew up in Okarche and attended Vaughn's Business College. Funeral services for Mrs. Hodges were held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 3 pm in Daniel’s Funeral Home chapel with the Rev.
