KISS is owned by Bauer Radio Limited. I think it's alright, it basically has good and bad times(depending on what artists are releasing).Basically, it's a generic pop radio station and is part of a chain of similar radio stations across the country.
The countdowns are more diverse, and there are some good giveaways.
Kiss 108 plays a lot of the best new and upcoming music that is popular, however has some things to fix. My little experiment took place from 9 AM to 5 PM and with a notepad would track how many times an artist had a song on the radio. I agree with Everyone else .

I admit it, I listen to this one the most. Cool. No matter what time I get in the shower and turn on the radio, that awful "Lips of an Angel" song is playing.

This station is nothing special.
I'm taking a cue from Kymm P. and reviewing the radio station I grew up with, good ol' KISS 108 (Or to those who aren't from around Boston, 107.9). The only good thing I will say about Matty in the Morning is that his intro/outro music is way better than anything they play all day.
Cons: They have a very very short playlist of about 6-8 sings at a time. Variety is NOT what kiss 108 is really going for.Then, the real reason for my low rating... Matty in the Morning has got to be the WORST morning radio show in the entire country. That said, I am starting to get really annoyed with this station. An iHeartRadio station. W1F 9DJ. I hate it 95% of the time but listen to it a lot for my 12 year old step daughter will not have serious attitude. I do love it. This hasn't been good since 1988. Though probably meant to get laughs, the show was filled with hate (gay bashing). He's cynical and sarcastic and clearly, I can identify with that.
Yes, Matty in the Morning is always entertaining and funny to listen to, and the Top 30 Countdown with Billy Costa on Saturday mornings (and Sunday nights, but I never listen to it then.....) is always interesting and fun to spend time listening to. Office Fax: 781-391-3064 .
