outlook keeps asking for password even though it is correct

Just started a few weeks back, nothings been changed form a settings standpoint and I know I'm entering the correct password for the account. This is a bunch of ****, uses a text message every time, besides being time consuming! Multi-Factor Authentication? too many of my Test messages, plus sometimes I am at our kids in a different state and don't get cell phone service in their basement, so I have to take my cell phone upstairs, just to receive the message. Been working for a while now. Add to that, I don't like having to take several extra steps to print something from my e-mail. and I would love to do this over the phone!!!!!

I am not going to change my password everytime I want to log in. #logic. idk even Open the Registry Editor. how to fix it. When I try to add the account back to outlook it keeps asking for password but never says if the one I entered was wrong.

So where is the solution to a problem so many people seem to be having but getting no assistance with which to solve it? Also, please confirm with your co-workers to see if they have the same issue. I don't think so.....I'll switch E-mail accounts first....G-mail is looking better all of the time! Customer service/Support I get back out start over.....(@#$%!)

If you can successfully log in the web mail app, then this issue is related to the Outlook client.
