Overall great. We met a lot of really amazing guests as well who all had nothing but nice things to say about the resort . On Thursday nights the resort provides a free shuttle at 11:20 PM to Margaritaville in town on Hip Street. This time, there wasn't much difference between Secrets and Sandals or Palace Concierge.- In the past, we were greeted with a nice welcome basket in the room with some fruit and a nice bottle of wine. It's minutes from the airport; it's absolutely beautiful; the staff is friendly and accomodating; the food is good........ My name Renee Walker I visit SOSJ 7/31-8/11/2013 & loved it. The people working at the waters sports center were fantastic - from the boat captain, dive master, crew working on the beach to the people working the desk. If we had not paid a premium, I would not mention this. The first evening there, the staff was setting up screens, large "Oscar" statues and chairs on the beach to watch the Oscars!!

The Apple Rep was helpful in finding us a non stop flight that fit our week we had taken off from work. The rooms were clean, the service was great, the food was great, and there is no shortage of activity if you are looking for things to do. The choices are great; our absolute favorite was the Lobster night which occurred on Saturday night; our last night there. Based on some great reviews we didn't hesitate booking our first holiday to the island.We have travelled all over the world and visited Dubai, Mauritius, Mexico, Amsterdam & Tenerife last year so we're both well travelled and have a wide experience of all sorts of hotels, service and star ratings etc.
