Girls Skate South Africa is calling on members of the community to get involved to contribute building materials for the skatepark. In what was a 7 week build, the team utilized the space available to create a flowing skatepark for beginners and experienced riders.
The Shred bowl was designed by California Skateparks and sponsored by Vans SA to create a suitable venue that could host the African Vans Park Series qualifier event, which takes place in July each year at The Shred.
She then wanted to recreate this feeling for other women.
Full access to the entire skatepark. Kids will join all other riders who are using the park on that day.
