5. Solved a problem I’ve been dealing with for 2 days.
My account IS an ADMIN account, so unsure how to proceed here.
I downloaded it and tried to run it with the ALL argument, but it error’d out complaining that it didn’t have sufficient permissions to edit the registry. It worked for both Office 7 and 10. What do I have to change to run this without prompt, just remove all, I must say great script thanks a lot. Thanks a lot for this!

Sorry… but one more comment to help … when office 2010 (or any office is removed) the outlook .pst files are still retained in a hidden AppData folder (can be unhidden in the folder options applet in the control panel) … it is safer to get those files off that location … C:UsersYourNameAppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlook … that’s it … I think. Superb work. After long days of struggles on how to uninstall office 2010, finally, this worked like magic for me. Thanks a lot! Im still having major problems. Uninstall Office from a PC WOWOWOWOWOWOWO WOW…….IT did it for me…Im so happy…Thanks in bunch my helper. I tried changing my product key, but it wouldn’t accept my (legitimate) key. Awesome! Someone said you have to run the file as administrator, but that option doesn’t exist when right-clicked.

This utility cannot help you remove items that have been installed separately from the Office suite. Thank you!!! I’m usually pretty good at fixing things myself, but after about 2 hours of zero fixes working, I ran both your scrubbers (2010 first, then 2007), then I manually deleted the leftover common files directories and some leftover reg keys. Code: 8007007E Click “Yes” on the User Account Control dialog box to allow cmd.exe to run as administrator.
It doesn't require installation, can only remove Microsoft Office suite products and requires a restart after usage. Great tool, spend hours to try to get rid of this office, i was starting to spin up a new VM af so many failures to remove. ‘End If. I’m going on 20 hours of frustration trying to get this resolved.
do i have to do anything. Office would shut the computer down anytime I tried uninstalling it using the GUID.
Problem is when I cut and paste the path to the file it doesn’t work. I have try it and it work perfectly and smoothly, for the people that is asking for permission, just run cmd as administrator then locate the file. This problem, as it turns out is not new, and there are unfortunately many possible causes, and as many solutions. I just said beautiful and then read the other posts. Please help ! Thank you so much!!!! For those who get registry access permission problem, try running the script as administrator. Please follow the steps below for Windows Vista and 7. Thank you so much. Basically when running cmd.exe as admin and you either know the file path to the file or managed to “cd” your way to the folder with the file, you then can type: START /WAIT CScript .vbs //NoLogo, where in the place of “.vbs” you put either the file path (example being c:Program FilesOffScrub10.vbs), or just place the filename itself if you are in the folder. 2007 removal worked for me. I would be eternally grateful! All thanks to you!! You saved me a lot of time and hassle! Uninstall methods recommended by Microsoft Office.
