Would've been cool if they left it kind of "open". I enjoyed it for what it was. Eventually, he makes it to the "end" of the bridge, this means through everything he eventually gets his high, represented by him getting to the end of the bridge to the helicopter and flying away. But the girl killed the threat in the other drug lord(forgot their names) making it safe for him to come back to India and its what friends do not for money but for honor and loyalty.
Read your comment and I could've sworn I wrote it myself, feel the exact same way.The action scenes were awesome and use of guns but I will say you could tell at times they were scenes which then had to be stitched together.I enjoyed the ending except that last gun shot, really annoyed me how he turned up at the last minute and got lucky, would've been good to see a full team mercenary mission with the team at the end. That Indian guy who worked for the Boys father. Him coming out of the water at the end is him peaking by the representation of him breaking through the barrier between the water and reality.

HATED the yellow "mexican filter", I thought it was too much. Could tell the John Wick CQC stylistic influence in this. The amount of people here expecting to bare witness to No Country for Old Men's level of script-writing when watching a small and fun action movie is astounding. Plus, when Ovi emerges from the water, he looks shocked to see whoever it is so how would he get to Australia if he's so surprised to see "Tyler"... Of course we have lifeguards in India tf lol, I'm pretty sure the kid was still in Mumbai, just because shit looks nice doesn't mean it can't be in India. Then Ovi repeats the same ritual - as if they were somehow the same or he grew attached to Tyler, seeing that he was kind of lonely in life before - sort of a similar way for him to cope with a loss just like Tyler did. Ceramic plates are lighter but not by whole lot.
Okay, that knife kill on a first cop in the building during that chase is brutal.

It's meh, there's like one cool action scene I liked earlier on, but I wasn't engaged by anything else, the scenes between Tyler and the kid written to make you care felt subpar.

I thought the movie ended and they would bring him back in the sequel to now take the fight to the gangster. The difference is very subtle and clever. My friend took a point blank 9mm to the jaw through the neck ,also in his arm it was detroit so no one helped him for hours.
